Kingdom of Serbia Association’s Municipal Committee in Velika Plana and “Plana” Royal football club organized the second “King’s cup”, a football tournament for younger categories of players, and the first day of the tournament was on August 21st, 2016.
The event was officially opened by Mr. Predrag Markovic, representative of HRH Crown Prince Alexander and member of the Crown Council. Mr. Markovic read the welcome letter from His Royal Highness to the participants and organizers of the tournament.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Igor Matkovic, the mayor of Velika Plana, Mr. Stefan Milanovic, president of the King’s Youth and member of the Managing Board of the Kingdom of Serbia Association and Mr. Dejan Blagojevic, the Association’s Executive Board Vice President for Eastern Serbia.
This year tournament has an international character – teams from Austria and the Republic of Srpska are participating. The tournament is for children born between 2004 and 2009.
