On the occasion of the birthday of HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar, Municipal Committee Sokobanja of the Kingdom of Serbia Association organized a night climb to Rtanj mountain (1565m) within the manifestation “St. John the plants picker”, on July 7, 2019.
Members of the Sokobanja Committee, members of the karate club Ozren Sokotop, friends and guests from Committee in Bor – a total of 32 participants, managed to conquer Rtanj and welcome the most beautiful sunrise in Serbia.
Neither the cold nor the wind nor the tiredness stopped us.

“St. John the plants picker” is a manifestation that is traditionally celebrated in Sokobanja on the eve of the birth of St. John the Baptist.
