Dobrica Milosavljevic

Dobrica Milosavljevic – Born in Petrovac na Mlavi on February 6th, 1973. He is an economist, currently employed as the assistant to the mayor of Petrovac na Mlavi. He has been a member of the Kindom of Serbia Association since 2012.

Since 2015, he has been president of the Municipal Board in Petrovac, and in 2017 he became a member of the Executive Board. He has been politically active since 1993. In 2000, he ran for local elections in his electoral district of Tabanovac, continuing to win a seat in the Municipal Council seven consecutive times. He served multiple terms as a member of the Council of the Local Community of Tabanovac, becoming one of the main contributors to the creation of living conditions in his native village.

He is especially proud of intiating and participating in the renovation of the monument to King Alexander I Karađorđević (after whom the main street in his village is named), which was revealed and consecrated in 1995. In 2002 he organized a visit of HRH Alexander and HRH Katarina Karađorđević to Tabanovac. He is an experienced sports manager, notably achieving success as the president of Women’s Handball Club “Sloga” in Petrovac na Mlavi, which he ran for 9 years. During that time, the club escalated from the lowest league to Super A League of Serbia. He is married and has two adult children.
