On this day 2 years ago, on April 29th, 2013, after decades of exile, the remains of one of the most beloved and greatest ruler that our country has ever had – HM Queen Maria, returned in Serbia.
Members of the Kingdom of Serbia Association had the immense honor of being the first who on that day welcomed the Queen Mother, at the airport “Nikola Tesla”.
The coffin with the body of our late Queen has been carried by gentlemen: Mario Majstorovic, Andrija Sosic, Sasa Susic, Predrag Medenica, Milos Pavkovic and Uros Parezanovic, and Mr. Savo Stevanovic carried the cross.
On that day started the correction of a decade injustice towards this great woman, who immensely indebted our people, and that injustice was finally corrected on May 26th, 2013, since when our Queen can peacefully rest next to her husband, HM King Alexander I.
