The Association Kingdom of Serbia solemnly marked its patron saint’s day, Saint Simeon the Myrrh-streaming, in the beautiful setting of the White Palace. The celebration was organized under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Alexander, with the presence of numerous distinguished guests.
Although HRH Crown Prince Alexander and HRH Crown Princess Katherine could not attend due to obligations abroad, the Crown Prince’s message was read during the ceremony. This significant event was attended by His Grace Bishop Aleksej of Hvosno, representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of the Crown Council, as well as prominent figures from Serbia’s public, political, and cultural life.
In his written message, HRH Crown Prince Alexander expressed gratitude to the members of the Association Kingdom of Serbia for their dedication to preserving tradition and promoting constitutional parliamentary monarchy. He emphasized the importance of perseverance in the struggle for historical justice and the dignity of future generations, stating that the restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia is more than a political vision – it is a pledge owed to both ancestors and descendants.
The ceremony began with a prayer in the Royal Chapel of Saint Andrew the First-Called, led by Father Mihailo Rapajić. Following this, the ceremonial breaking of the slava bread took place, attended by HRH Prince Alexander, the youngest son of Crown Prince Alexander.
The Association Kingdom of Serbia continues its mission of preserving monarchist values through various activities, positive campaigns, and humanitarian work, promoting the idea of a constitutional parliamentary monarchy in Serbia. Founded in 2008 as “King’s Youth,” the association has been open since 2010 to all citizens who share this vision, regardless of political, national, or religious affiliation.
