The finals of the traditional 10th Vidovdan Football Tournament in Novi Zednik was held on July 2nd, 2016 in front of more than 2,000 spectators, and the winner of this tournament is the team of the Kingdom of Serbia Association’s City Committee Subotica!
For the first-place trophy and cash prize of 120,000 dinars competed team “LPC Villa Vesta” and team “Kingdom of Serbia V.V. Vlahovic “.
In an exciting and uncertain match in which both teams had chances to win, the match ended with a 1:1 draw. Penalties decided the winner of the tournament.
Our team “Kingdom of Serbia VV Vlahovic” was more calm and precise and won the penalty shoot-out with the score 4:3.
The best scorer of the tournament is Stevo Kopanja, and the best goalkeeper of the tournament is Milan Sekulic, both from our team.
For our team played also Dako Damjanovic, Nedo Nedic, Miloš Grubor, Boris and Goran Popović.
