The traditional Gathering in Dubrava was held for the 16th time in Old Trstenik on July 15th, 2015. The representatives of the Kingdom of Serbia Association laid wreaths to the monument of the deceased veterans from WW1 and WW2.
Mr. Miodrag Simic, vice-president of the Kingdom of Serbia Association’s Municipal board in Trstenik laid wreath on behalf of the Association, and besides him Mr. Jovica Vujicic, Association’s Executive board’s coordinator for Rasina district and Mr. Ivan Petrovic, president of the Association’s City board in Krusevac were also present.
The Gathering was opened by Mr. Zivorad Andrejic, and oration called “Remembering the year 1915” was spoken by actor Momir Bradic. Mr. Jovica Vujicic also greeted the gathered people on behalf of the Kingdom of Serbia Association.
This year’s winner of “Moravska povelja” award is writer Ljubisa Djidic.
Church choir “Saint Roman Slatkopojac” performed on the gathering, and a mini concert was held by flute virtuoso Bora Dugić.
