Little Jovan Simonovic from city Kraljevo, born on 20th January, 2014, was on his birth diagnosed Leucoma corneae vascularisatum. He is completely blind and the only thing that can help him is the corneal operation that could help him to partially gain sight. Kingdom of Serbia Association calls upon all its members and supporters who are able and willing to help Jovan!
The child was examined by the doctors in Moorfields eye hospital in London. Dr Frank Larkin diagnosed Peter’s eye anomaly. The London clinic has scheduled electro diagnostic examination in August and 2 or 3 days later a surgical treatment based on the results – eider optical iridectomi or corneal transplant.
Without the surgical procedure and with the progression of illness, the child will almost certainly remain blind for life
This operation is perhaps the last attempt to save John’s vision.
The treatment costs are 15,000 EUR, and the child should go to London by 20 August 2015.
