Kingdom of Serbia Association congratulates National Day of Serbia to all citizens of our State!
Today we remember immortal Supreme Leader Djordje Petrovic Karadjorjde and his heroic soldiers, who started the First Serbian Uprising on this day in the year 1804. They gave their lives and sucrifised themselves for our freedom, and laid the foundation of the modern Serbian state!
Today we also mark the memory on the adoption of the first Serbian Constitution, which happened on this day in the year 1835. With this document, the highest legal act of the Principality of Serbia, which was more advanced and more liberal than majority of the Constitutions of developed European countries, Serbian people showed to the world that they no longer were Turkish slaves, but progressive emerging nation!
