Belgrade, April 25th, 2015 – Kingdom of Serbia’s board in the city of Belgrade organized the second round of qualifications in oratory competition in the premises of the Association iv Vlajkoviceva street No 4.
The event started with the original version of Serbian national anthem.
President of the Belgrade city board, Mr. Milos Pavkovic greeted the competitors and the audience, and he spoke to them about the Association. He told them that Kingdom of Serbia is the only monarchist association that has HRH Crown Prince Alexander’s patronage, and that we have more than 11,000 members and over 70 local boards and trustees. Mr. Pavkovic also said that our primary goal is the restoration of monarchy in Serbia.
The oratory competition consists of three qualifying rounds and the final, and the final will be held on May 5th, 2015 in the White Court.
Ten competitors were speaking this evening, and they are students of students of the Seminary of St. Sava, St. Sava Gymnasium and the Fifteenth Belgrade Gymnasium.
The jury was composed of: dr. Dobrivoje Stanojevic, a professor at the Faculty of Political Science, Mr. Predrag Markovic, a member of the Crown Council, politician and writer, priest Gligorije Markovic, pastor at the municipality Vozdovac and priest in the Central prison of Serbia and Mr. Ljubisa Jovanovic, professor.
In the final we will have the opportunity to once again hear the words of Philip Markovic, Nina Zivkovic, Vladimir Jevtic, Irina Saljic and Sladjana Antelj.
The third round of qualifications will be held on May 2nd, 2015, in the Association’s premises at 19:00 hours.
