Today is Vidovdan (St. Vitus day) – one of the greatest, but also one of the most tragic dates of our history. This day is fatefully linked both to Serbia and Serbian people, and it has marked and also uniquely created our past.
It is hard to list all important events from our past that have occurred on this day, but the one that stands out, the one which is the first association when Vidovdan is mentioned is Kosovo battle, 1389 AD.
Let us remember today all the victims and all the suffering that Serbian people submitted in our past!
