Mr. Andrija Šošić, a member of the Managing Board of the Kingdom of Serbia Association, met with His Eminence Bishop of the Eastern America Mr. Irinej on February 9, 2018, he informed him about our activities and presented him with a gift on behalf of the Association.
Mr. Šošić accompanied Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, who, together with His Grace Bishop Irinej of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Eastern America attended a fund raising dinner for the Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church in Potomac Maryland which serves the metropolitan Washington DC region.
The event was also attended by Her Excellency Mrs. Zeljka Cvijanovic, Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Vladimir Marinkovic, Vice President of the Serbian Parliament, Мr. Meho Mahmutovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health as well as the Honorable and Mrs. Branko Terzic, Royal Adjutant and member of the Privy Council and Mr. Mark Rasevic.
The Royal couple expressed their gratitude to the Reverend Dr. Vasilije Vranic, Mrs. Drina Vlastelic-Rajic and parish members who organized this first visit of the Royal couple to new Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church property.
