The delegation of the Kingdom of Serbia Association visited on October 30 and 31, 2018, the Holy Serbian Imperial Lavra, the endowment of St. Sava and St. Simeon, the Hilandar Monastery.
The Association realized this visit with the blessing of the Honorable Prior of the Monastery Hilandar, Archimandrite Metodije. Honorable Prior made us a special honor by receiving our delegation and with fatherly blessing that he gave to every member of the Association who went on this trip, and welcomed us with the words: “Long live the King!”
President of the Association, Mr. Mario Majstorović gave to the Prior Metodije the gift of our Patron, HRH Crown Prince Alexander – book of Mr. Dusan Bapac about knightly King Alexander.
We visited a place of immense religious, cultural and national significance, an indivisible part of our national being. Mr Bojan Starcevic, previous president and member of the Council of the Association, guided us through the rich history and many details unknown to the wider public about this holy place, to whom we are immensely grateful.
We send our gratitude to the Honorable Prior of the Monastery Hilandar, Archimandrite Metodije, on the fatherly blessing to visit our sanctuary!
