On this day 19 years ago, March 24th 1999, started NATO bombing of the Federative Republic of Yugoslavia.

The aggression lasted 78 days, in which infrastructure, commercial buildings, military facilities, schools, health institutions, media houses, cultural monuments etc. were severely damaged or destroyed.

The final number of victims was never officially release, but the estimation range goes between 1,200 and 2,500 dead, of which 557 civilians and 5,000 people were injured.

After the war, approximately 200,000 Kosovo Serbs and other non-Albanians had to escape from Kosovo and Metohija.

Nobody was found responsible neither for these deaths, nor for this exodus…

We must never forget innocent victims of this madness. May God rest their souls!
