The City of Sremska Mitrovica, Local community Block B and Kingdom of Serbia Association’s City Committee Sremska Mitrovica organized the 4th annual manifestation “Children’s Day” on September 10th, 2016.
Besides the children from Sremska Mitrovica, participation in sport and in artistic part of the “Children’s Day” also took the children from Kosovo and Metohija: from Ranilug, Veliko Ropotovo and Šilovo, and as well as from the Republic of Serbian: Srbac and Dvorovi.
Lunch for the distinguished guests was prepared in Ethno mansion Čupić in Mačvanska Mitrovica, where they enjoyed the exceptional dishes and great hospitality of the host, Mr. Svetislav Čupić.
The manifestation was attended by: Mayor of Sremska Mitrovica, Mr. Vladimir Petković, president of the City Hall, Mr. Tomislav Janković, Mayor of Ranilug, Mr. Gradimir Mikić with his associates, representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as many other distinguished citizens of Sremska Mitrovica. Kingdom of Serbia Association was represented by Mr. Mario Majstorović, President of the Association, Mr. Andrija Šošić, member of the Managing Board, and Mr. Predrag Medenica, Vice President of Kingdom of Serbia Association’s Executive Board for Vojvodina
Special congratulations go to the team of organizers, led by Mr. Dragan Božić, president of the KS Committee Sremska Mitrovica, who made sure that everything was in order.
At the end of the program, each child who participated (over 500) got a gift.
