Kingdom of Serbia Association, Foundation of Crown Princess Katherine, Lifeline Chicago and members of the association individually collected a large contingent of aid and delivered it to the 24-member family Savić from the village of Korestište, Gnjilane municipality, where 11 children live in one house, which lack basic living conditions.

The family Savic, whose head is Todorka, because her husband was killed by Albanian separatists, is made up of her four sons: Predrag, Sasa, Novica and Sinisa, two of whom are married.

Predrag has two sons, Ivica and Slobodan. Ivica has a wife Ivana and seven children: Magdalena (12), Marko (10), Tijana (8), Petar (7), Dragana (5), Nikolina (2) and Mladen (11 months)

Slobodan has his wife Jelena and two children – Jovan (4) and Djordje (1,5)

Novica has four children, wife Snezana and children Dusan (17), Danijela (15), Srdjan (13) and Bojana (9).

Only Ivica has a job paid 50% and works as a guard in the school, and grants a pension.

They are doing various types of jobs to survive, surrounded by Albanians, breeding goats and cattle, digging graves, cutting wood, hard manual labor …

Travel and delivery of aid could not be realized without the support and assistance of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia, which we remain immensely grateful, as well as the team of associates in the field led by Mr. Zoran Stojkovic.
