Members of the Managing Board of the Kingdom of Serbia Association had a meeting with the patron, HRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, at the Royal Palace, at which Their Highnesses thanked Mr. Mario Majstorovic on his dedication and all that he has done as President of the KS in promoting the idea of a constitutional parliamentary monarchy.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander expressed his wish for Mr. Majstorovic to become the Honorary President of the Association, which he accepted and which will be formalized at the next Assembly of the Association.
His Royal Highness authorized the Management Board, according to our Statute, to take over the powers vested in the Assembly, and he confirmed the election of Mr. Sasa Susic to be the head of the Association.
We convey to you the statement of Mr. Susic:
Dear members and supporters of the Kingdom of Serbia,
Our Patron, HRH Crown Prince Alexander showed me his trust by accepting the proposal of the Association’s Managing Board, for me to be at the head of the Kingdom of Serbia until the election.
To preserve the values and the acquired reputation that I inherited from my predecessors, and I consider the promotion of the work of the association a sacred obligation, and this is where I trust in all of you with the Kingdom at heart to help me.
I thank my predecessors, the Presidents of the Association so far, for all the good they have done in fulfilling our mission, I will endeavor to justify the trust and to contribute, as much as possible, to the restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia.
