Kingdom of Serbia Association’s City Committee Krusevac donated over 600 books to the Public library Krusevac and 400 books to the library of the Historical Archive Krusevac on June 3rd, 2016.
The donation is part of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences activity called “Million books for Serbia”, which is realized by the Museum of books and “Adigat” association from Belgrade. The donation consists of variety of monographs and publications. Monographs are with the topics from history, other social sciences, the Serbian language and literary theory. The titles of serial publications are: Glas SANU za društvene nauke, Južnoslovenski filolog,Onomatološki prilozi, Naš jezik, Srpski dijalektološki zbornik.
City Committee Krusevac sends its gratitude to the Messrs. Branko and Viktor Lazic and Stojan Predovic as well as Mr Darko Vukicevic, President of the KS committee in Lazarevac (near Krusevac) for their help in the realization of this activity.
According to the coordinator for Rasinski District of the Kingdom of Serbia Association’s Executive Board, Mr Milos Stojadinovic, this is only one in a series of activities, and in the coming period, it was agreed to donate books for the four elementary schools in the territory of Rasinski District.
