Kingdom of Serbia Association had the honor that His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Mr. Irinej cut our “slava” bread on our Patron Saint Day, St. Simeon the Myrrh-streaming, February 26th, 2019.

“Slava” bread (ser. slavski kolač) is traditional bread that Serbs make for their Patron Saint Day. It is taken in the church on the morning of the Patron Saint Day, where priest read the prayers dedicated to the Patron Saint and then cut the slava bread, making the sign of cross on it and pours it with wine.
