On Saturday, 3rd October 2015 a Holy Procession went through the streets of Kraljevo, carrying The Holy Relics, the incorrupt body of Saint monk Simon (King Stefan the First crowned) from the Holy Trinity church to the Temple of Saint Sava. Kingdom of Serbia Association was awarded a special honor on this occasion. President of the Executive Board, Mr. Sasa Susic, and president of the City Committee Kraljevo, Mr. Vladan Pejkovic have carried the coffin with the saint’s relics together with the members of police.
The Procession is part of the celebration of the Day of the Kraljevo City – “King’s day”, which is celebrated on the 7th October, when Serbian Orthodox Church celebrates Saint monk Simon, who was the founder of Zica monastery and the first Serbian king crowned in this shrine. The Procession was led by His Grace Bishop of Zica Mr. Justin.
Kingdom of Serbia Association uses this opportunity to once again thank His Grace Bishop of Zica Mr. Justin and the clergy of the Diocese of Zica of Serbian Orthodox Church on an exceptional honor that they have showed us.
