Central ceremony of the event called “Vozdovi dani” (Supreme Leader’s Days) was held on July 26th 2015 in Radovanjski lug, on the place where Supreme Leader Djordje Petrovic Karadjordje was murdered in the night between 24th and 25th July 1817. Kingdom of Serbia Association’s Municipal Board from Velika Plana had the honor to be the co organizer of this manifestation. The Divine Liturgy was held in the presence of a large number of guests, and afterwards the memorial service took place at the site where Karadjordje was originally buried.

Very nice cultural program, as well as the warmth and hospitality of the hosts have contributed that this manifestation will soon become the largest event in this part of Serbia. Soon it will be the 200th anniversary of this event, and the plans for that are already being made.

The representatives of the Kingdom of Serbia Association who attended this event were: the President of the Kingdom of Serbia Association, Mr. Mario Majstorovic, Vice-president, Miss Branislava Dragutinovic, President of the City Board in Belgrade, Mr. Milos Pavkovic, Mr. Dragan Vekic, Executive Board’s coordinator for Pomoravski district and Miss Sladjana Jelisavcic.

Mrs. Sanda Raskovic Ivic, president of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) also attended this manifestation, as well as the representatives of the Velika Plana Municipality, led by President of the Municipality, Mr. Dejan Skuletic.
