Today is Vidovdan (St. Vitus day) – one of the greatest, but also one of the most tragic dates of our history. This day is fatefully linked both for Serbia and Serbian people, and it has marked and also uniquely created our past.

It is hard to list all important events from our past that have occurred on this day, but two that stand out by their significance are Kosovo battle, 1389 AD, and Sarajevo assassination, 1914 AD.

Let us remember today all the victims and all the suffering that our people submitted in our past!
