Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine celebrated the Christmas Eve at the Royal Palace, respecting Serbian tradition, and members of the Kingdom of Serbia Association had the honor to be present.
On Christmas morning, the Crown Prince cut Yule log and brought it to the Royal Palace. The evening was marked by the traditional burning of the Yule log in front of the Royal Palace. It was blessed by Father Vukasin Milicevic from St. Sava Temple.
Crown Prince Alexander once again invited the citizens of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska to try to spend as much time with their families in 2017 and wished them good health and happiness.
Their Royal Highnesses will attend the Christmas Holy Liturgy that will be officiated by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej at the Cathedral Church in Belgrade at 9:00 o’clock, after which Crown Princess Katherine will visit children’s hospitals in Belgrade to deliver presents and brighten Christmas for the children who are currently their patients. On this occasion Crown Princess Katherine will deliver an ultrasound machine to the Institute for Health Protection of Mother and Child of Serbia.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine, Hereditary Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander once again wish a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all citizens of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska with the traditional Christmas greeting “Christ is Born!”.
