Kingdom of Serbia Association’s City Committee Kraljevo held the third humanitarian Easter children festival on May 5th, 2016. The manifestation this year as previous years had blessing of His Grace Bishop of Zica Mr. Justin.
The funds that were raised by the sales of Easter eggs and decoration ornaments, which were prepared by the children from elementary schools and preschools from Kraljevo, will be used for the purchase of the orthopedic wheel-chair for a twelve year old Luka Opacic from Tavnik.
Books (Holy Bishop Nikolaj – “Faith of the Holy“ (Vera svetih ser.), one of the best titles for Orthodox religious education link) were awarded to the children who participated in the program, which were donated by the deacon Savo Ždero, Executive Board’s Vice President for Western Serbia.
In addition to humanitarian work, the guests enjoyed a rich cultural and artistic program, which was primarily dedicated to the greatest Christian holiday.
